The FFCD has agreed to form regional partnerships with two highly acclaimed national organizations (see links below with descriptions) that have achieved success in improving school climate.
The FFCD role will be to provide:
· Expert consultation in identifying financial resources to sustain these initiatives to ensure that these activities have a deep and lasting impact on youth
· Assessment & evaluation to document outcomes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
· High quality and customized professional development opportunities for school leadership and educators
· Advocacy for innovative and effective educational reform initiatives
· Assistance in identifying coalition-building opportunities so that the surrounding community has a role in shaping policy and life-long learning opportunities
